Courgette aka zucchini is a small Summer squash belonging to the species ‘Cucurbita pepo’. The colours of courgette’s vary from yellow to different shades of green. Although the courgette is treated as a vegetable it is in actual fact an ‘immature’ fruit. Thankfully the courgette is one of the easiest vegetables to cultivate in temperate climates as such it has become very popular with home growers.

Courgettes come in a large number of varieties. Some of the most common courgette seeds include:

Atena courgette seeds - Tasty with a golden-yellow colour.
Black beauty courgette seeds – Dark in colour, delicious in taste.
El Greco courgette seeds - A productive, early cropper with glossy skin.
Endurance courgette seeds - Practically spine-free with a dark green skin.
Green Bush courgette seeds – Early maturing courgette.
Jaguar courgette seeds -  A dark green courgette with a great flavour.
Latino courgette seeds – Unique looking with a great bite.
One Ball courgette seeds - Round-shaped, yellow-coloured fruits.
Zucchini courgette seeds – Deep emerald colour and early cropper.
