Parsley is a green, biennial herb commonly found in European and Middle Eastern cuisine. Parsley requires a rich soil in order to grow but it is one of the easiest herbs to grow requiring minimal maintenance.
There are a number of varieties of parsley seeds you can choose to grow including “Moss curled” parsley seeds, one of the most versatile parsley herbs, “Italian Plain Leaves ” parsley seeds which has an intense flavour “Parsley Envy” which produces dark green curled foliage and “Favorit” parsley seeds which produce dark green parsley with a great taste.

Growing parsley
1/ Parsley grows best in rich, moist, fertile soil and likes strong (but not full) sunshine.
2/ Parsley seeds can take a fair few weeks to germinate thus its recommended to sow seeds indoors in a warm room.
3/ Sow around 4 to 5 parsley seeds in pot, then thin seedlings to 1 per pot. Alternatively parsley does well in containers. Make sure to keep the pots in a sunny spot and feed the plants regularly.
4/ Parsley needs general maintenance including weed removal, regular watering and if you have it to hand an organic fertiliser.
5/ When harvesting parsley simply cut off the desired leaves with scissors.
When planting parsley always remember to refer to the instructions on the seed packets!
