# Pepper recipes
The bell pepper is native to Mexico and a cultivar of the species ‘capsicum annuum’. Bell peppers can come in a variety of sizes and their colours change as the pepper continues to ripen (from green to red). The taste of a pepper can also differ from sweetness to a bitter taste.
There are a number of varieties of bell peppers to choose from, some of the most common pepper seeds include: “Salad Festival” seeds which produce bell peppers in mixed colours, “Tasty Bell” seeds which produce a good quality bell shape, “Caldero” seeds which produce a uniform conical shape.
